Take Your Utah Real Estate Career to the Next Level
You’ve built experience helping clients buy and sell real estate. Now, prepare for your next professional milestone: becoming a Utah real estate broker.
The Utah Real Estate Broker Course from Global Real Estate School focuses on the education component of your broker licensing journey, with a 120-hour curriculum covering Utah law, broker principles, and broker-level practices.
One course. One straightforward price: $298.
Your 120-Hour Broker Curriculum
Build your knowledge across three core areas, with testing included in each part:
- Utah Law: 30 hours, including 3 hours of testing.
- Broker Principles (Fundamentals): 45 hours, including 4 hours of testing.
- Broker Practices (Broker Level): 45 hours, including 4 hours of testing.
Is the Broker Path Right for You?
This course is intended for experienced real estate professionals pursuing a Utah broker license, rather than first-time salesperson applicants. Education is one part of the licensing process; applicants must also meet Utah’s experience, qualification, and examination requirements.
Understand the Path to Your Utah Broker License
Review the following requirements before enrolling:
- Meet the licensing qualifications. Applicants must meet the statutory standards of honesty, integrity, truthfulness, reputation, and competency under Utah Code Annotated 61-2f. Administrative Rule R162-2f-201 provides additional details about criminal history and other factors considered in qualification for licensure.
- Meet the experience requirement. Within the five years preceding the application date, applicants must have either three years of full-time, licensed, active real estate experience, or two years of that experience plus one year of full-time professional real estate experience qualifying under optional experience table 3 in the appendix to Administrative Rule R162-2f-202b.
- Document your experience points. Within that same five-year period, applicants must accumulate at least 60 documented experience points complying with R162-2f-401a. Experience point tables 1 and 2 appear in the appendices to R162-2f-501.
- Complete and pass the required education. Utah requires 120 hours of approved education at a certified Real Estate Pre-Licensing School, covering the three curriculum areas above.
- Pass the broker exam. Applicants must take and pass the broker examination through a state-approved testing vendor.
Prepare for Your Next Chapter
Whether your goal is greater professional responsibility or a future in brokerage leadership, take the next step with a focused broker education course from Global Real Estate School.
Before enrolling, confirm current licensing requirements and your individual eligibility with the Utah Division of Real Estate. Course completion does not by itself grant a broker license.
