Earn Your Hawaii Real Estate Salesperson License

DCCA-Approved 60-Hour Online Pre-Licensing Course

Are you ready to build a flexible, high-income career in paradise? Earning your Hawaii real estate license opens the door to unlimited earning potential, a schedule you control, and the freedom of working for yourself.

At Global Real Estate School, we make navigating Hawaii's strict regulatory framework simple. Led by John Mayfield—an industry expert and real estate coach who has been helping students pass their exams since 1978—our premium 60-hour course is fully approved by the Hawaii Real Estate Branch (DCCA). We give you the exact tools, local insights, and confidence required to conquer the state exam on your very first try.

3 Simple Steps to Your Hawaii Real Estate License

Changing careers shouldn't feel like navigating an ocean of state bureaucracy. We break your path to licensure down into three manageable milestones:

Step 1: Complete Your 60-Hour Required Education

Log into our modern, mobile-friendly student portal to complete your state-mandated 60-hour pre-licensing curriculum. We cover everything from foundational federal principles to unique local topics, including an introduction to Hawaiian History, State Land Use Controls, and Hawaii Standard Forms.

Step 2: Beat the Odds on the Hawaii State Exam

Hawaii’s licensing exam has a notoriously low first-time pass rate. Our program features custom-engineered exam simulators, audio/video reviews, and real estate math bootcamps explicitly tailored to the PSI Hawaii Real Estate Exam structure (80 National questions / 50 State questions).

Step 3: Launch Your New Career in Paradise

Once you achieve a passing score of 70% or higher, your test center will hand you your application. We provide the exact checklist you need to complete your FBI fingerprint background check, submit your application to the DCCA, and align with your first sponsoring broker.

100% Online & Mobile-Responsive: Learn on your own terms. Study from your computer, tablet, or smartphone, whether you are on Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, or prepping for a move from the mainland.

Dedicated Instructor Support: You are never left on your own. John is your personal real estate coach, providing study aids, test-taking strategies, and a welcoming hand through every phase of the course.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the basic requirements to get a Hawaii real estate license? You must be at least 18 years old by the exam date, possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, be a U.S. citizen or legal alien authorized to work in the United States, and complete the mandatory 60-hour pre-licensing education.

Do I have to be a resident of Hawaii to get a Hawaii real estate license? No! There is no state residency requirement to get licensed in Hawaii. You can complete our 100% online course and even schedule your official PSI state exam from the mainland before making your move to the islands.

What is a passing score on the Hawaii real estate exam? You must score a 70% or higher on both the National portion (80 questions, 150-minute limit) and the State portion (50 questions, 90-minute limit) of the official PSI licensing exam.

How long is my Hawaii course completion certificate valid? Your Hawaii pre-license course completion certificate is valid for two years from the date it is issued. Within that two-year period, you must pass both portions of the Hawaii real estate licensing exam and submit your license application to the Hawaii DCCA Real Estate Branch.
