Okay, I know the title is a bit blunt, but let me ask you to look at your career page on your website for a moment. Maybe you call it "join our team" or "get your real estate license," but please take a moment and look at your current page.
Second, how many people get excited to get their real estate license by clicking on a page with that name or, yes, the proverbial "join our team?" Think about it—that statement probably scares off 90% of your potential recruits.
While I am on a rant, here is another point you should write down: Why do we, as brokers and managers, get frustrated with agents who quit the business because they do not follow the recipe we gave them to be successful in real estate? Yet, as brokers and managers, do you know there is a recipe for success when using online marketing to capture leads (for this article, those leads are recruits for your organization)? Yet hardly any brokerages follow the directions. I know because I'm stalking you.
This past year, I have been working hard to scale my real estate school as I expand into different states. Naturally, I need to make a lot of cold calls to real estate brokers and managers, introducing myself and my company, Global Real Estate School. Before I pick up the phone to dial for dollars, it is important to get to know a little bit about the company, e.g., size, number of offices, do they have a school, etc. And wow, what an eye-opener!

Plus, I'm in disbelief that 99.9% of the websites I have looked at just depressed me to no end, to where I had to say, "Enough. John Mayfield, you have got to do something to help these organizations!"
